ABOUT ME

I'm doing my PhD in the field of renewable energies. Currently I'm looking at what is an effective policy design to enhance solar power. Here I'm looking at what's interesting for investors and residential consumers. I'm also interested in consumer behavior questions. I did my MA degree in Geography and French and became a high school teacher in Geography and French. I liked teaching but also felt that I wanted to do some projects outside the classroom. In Geography I was especially looking at the climat change issue, i.e. what leads to cl.ch. and where does cl. ch. lead to. But then I felt, that it would be more helpful to ask: What can we do against? So I started to be more interested into Energy - Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency... My favorite is solar power, because I like to sun :) - and that's why I came to California for one year.
My freetime I like spending with other interesting
people. Each person has its own story and I'm very curious about knowing more of them. Also, I like sport, especially outdoor as hiking and running.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I can't host anybody as I'm on the transfer from Davis to Berkeley. As soon as I have a place, I'm happy to hosting people.
From next summer on and back in Switzerland I have a couch waiting for guests!
