ABOUT ME

Im originally from Costa Rica. I graduated from college with a degree in teaching (English as a Foreign Language). After being an English teacher in my hometown for more than 7 years, I applied for an exchange program to teach Spanish in the US. I lived in South Carolina from 2007 to 2010. I loved the beach, so it wad great to stay 15 minutes from Myrtle Beach. At first it was not easy though, being away from all what I grew up with and adapting to a new culture, system, and job made me wonder if it was really worth it. But I guess that my perseverance and positive attitude helped me adapt and learn fast. I came back to my hometown in 2010 and have lived here since then.

Interests

I love traveling and that is what I try to do when I have some time off. I also like making friends, learning from other cultures, trying new food, going shopping, listenig to music, working out, going to the movies and of course, going out to clubs. I am a little serious at first but that doesnt last too long, specially after a couple of drinks. I am very independent, selfconfident and proud of my background and achievements. What else? Just ask!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most types of music, but I have a preference for electronic beats, specially house music. Love going to the movies and like comedies and good thrillers. Not a big reader but like Allan Poe and Garcia Marquez.
