ABOUT ME

Other's people depicts me as a funny, kind, ambitious and good looking man (maybe sometimes a little bit arrogant :P). I like music mainly rock and jazz (http://www.lastfm.it/user/OoFunkyAmaroO), movies, tv shows and videogames (yup nerd alert) but i don't spend all my time closed in my house, infact i like hanging out with my friends, play some sports (a lot of them), walk in the nature, travel and so on. Oh and i liiiike food (ofc i'm italian :D). Well stop now, if you'll meet me you'll know more ;)

PHILOSOPHY

Life's too short to be anything but happy! I'm a very optimistic person, always trying to take the best from everything. Every chance must be taken, every person met is a potential friend so...carpe diem!

I hope to meet new friends, live foreign cities and not only be a tourist and let people from other countries discover my city often too much understimated.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted Sarah from USA, had a great experience, i showed her the best places to visit, to eat and to hang out. We talked a lot and had good time together. Definitely the best 1st experience ever!

Music, Movies, and Books

A lot of music, check my lasft.fm profile to see my taste http://www.lastfm.it/user/OoFunkyAmaroO. Also a lot of jazz not scrobbled since i listen to it from a hi-fi! Both classic (favourite are Bill Evans, Wayne Shorter, John Coltrane, Sonny Rollins) and more modern like Brad Mehldau, Avishai Cohen and Renaud Garcia-Fons.
About movies i like american cinema but i'm trying to extend my knowledge also in european's and eastern's one. A few movies fromt the top of my head: Fight Club, Snatch, Scarface, Trainspotting, The Dark Knight, Full Metal Jacket, Eternal Sunshine of a spotless mind, Inception, Star Wars, Lord of the rings, Pulp Fiction, The Tenebaum, Space Odissey...but i could keep forever so i'll just stop! I like also action trash movies like Crank :D

About books sadly i'm not a huge reader but i'm kinda a potterhead :P

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too hard to name just one thing that i really loved. I'm a thrill-seeker, i've been on more than 40 coasters all around the world, parasailed, cliffdived, skiied in the dark and during snowstorm..
But i'm really passioante about music and cinema also, i met a lot of my favourite groups and some actors and i got the chance to chat with them also! The best episode was sharing a drink with John Herndon and Jeff Parker from Tortoise :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Cool idea, i'm working on this. for now let's only say that i'm a good skiier, amateur bass player and of course i can teach Italian, my main language and history, geography and culture (mostly food ;)) of my city. I will love some Spanish lessons and maybe snowboards lessons.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If i'm able to host i will spend almost all the time with guests. I want to help the people coming here to really feel and experience my region. I have a car so i can easily drive around and help reaching the airport. Also my father is a good cook :D
