Yooo I’m Gigi! I’m 21 years old and although I grew up in a small village immersed in the Italian Alps, I have graduated from an international school in Denmark. I speak Italian, English and Spanish fluently.
I am a curious young man, always looking for new adventures. My goal in life is to explore the vast and magnificent planet we live on, as well as to explore our inner self, spirituality and our nature as human beings and the societies we live in.
I have many interests, such as music and art, climbing, reading, writing poems and short stories, the natural world, indigenous tribes and their ways of life, photography, philosophy and sustainable living.
Now that I have finished my studies, I am traveling around South America with the aim of testing myself in a new environment and discovering new cultures and ways of life.
I believe that the capitalist system is corrupt and that we should make a change as soon as possible. I believe in living auto-sufficiently, in small communities, anarchism, and in life in deep contact with Mother Nature and with our roots as human beings.
I am slowly starting to live according to my philosophy, experimenting life at the edge of society with a zero (or almost zero) impact on the environment.

I’m am currently traveling so I am not able to host but as soon as I settle somewhere for some time I’ll be ready to pay back all the hospitality and love I have received in my trip!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love immersing myself in the culture of the country I visit and getting to know the locals. Most importantly, I love meeting new people and their stories.
And because what would be the human experience on this planet without sharing and caring for each other?

The great Pink Floyd, John Coltrane, Jim Morrison and the Doors, Jimi Herndix, Sons of Kemet and Frank Zappa. In general, my favourite genres are jazz and progressive jazz, rock, psychedelic rock, reggae music and hip hop, but I like all kinds of music.

As for films, my favourites are La Haine, Fight Club, Biutiful, Dallas Buyers Club, 21 Grams and Into the Wild.

My favourite book of all time is Shantaram.
