I am Colombian, born in the city of Bogotá, I am 32 years old.
I like a lot to travel and to know new places besides helping people.
I am a professor of social sciences and I have a master's degree in international relations.
After working 11 years in Colombia for a famous restaurant called Andres Carne de Res, I decided to come to the United States to volunteer in Dowagiac Michigan.
The NGO with whom I am volunteering is called One Word Center and they have humanitarian programs in Africa and Brazil.
The volunteer program begins with six months of preparation in Dowagiac and then I will travel to Mosambique in Africa to develop education and health programs.
In these first six months I will be traveling with my team to collect funds for the trip to Africa.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because in the volunteer program couchsurfing is a great tool for our fundraising trips and investigation. I also like to travel a lot and help people. I would like to know as many countries in the world as I can.
