About Me
Hello people.
My name is Luis Adolfo, and everyone calls me Fofo, which is a nickname for Adolfo. I am 28 years old and I live in Alajuela, Costa Rica. I really like to cook, to ride my bike, to workout, to bike, to learn stuff and to try to improve myself a lot. I might come off as introvert but I know I can be assertive, respectful and easygoing once I feel more in tune with the people I meet. Right now I consider myself as master of none but definitely giving it a try to different stuff like taking cooking lessons from Master Chef, just to aim to be a chef and I have a background of Electrical Engineering, which I actually dropped.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to meet people from around the globe that enjoy sharing their time with other souls. I have met people through hangouts and stays and I think that those people are also trying to get out of their comfort zone and connect to strangers, to get in touch with other cultures and maybe get new perspectives.
I hope to meet open minded and relax people, open to meet a Costa Rican guys that likes to cook, ride bike and keep active throughout the day.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like alternative, lo-fi, bossa nova, pop, R&B, and .... not so much of a reggaeton listener...
I like movies about the future, bios, documentaries, ... and not so much of horror which I feel negative for myself because of bringing fears into people's minds
and my ultimate favorite book is The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
to learn stuff on my own :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can speak Spanish as a native so if you want to share languages on conversations I love that. I like to share cooking knowledge from Costa Rica but also to learn from the others how do they cook their food. I hope to share times with others when we feel the need for company, but also to support each other, I like to help in anyone's house if they let me in, let it be cleaning, organizing or even if something I can fix I would try to help.
What I Can Share with Hosts
What I can share is what I have seen and learned throughout my life, I think people like to listen what I have to say because I try to be transparent and at least light hearted to people, I guess we all have differences that certainly makes us unique and I try to celebrate that :)
