About Me

Hey i‘m Luis :)

Im a carpenter who recently quit his job to travel around the globe. I‘ll be returning to it since i‘ve really found satisfaction and meaning in this trade but for now it felt right to travel.

I‘ve just learned about Cs from so many friends and im so excited to dive into this community since they told me so many good things about their experiences.
Since the part in travelling i enjoyed the most was meeting locals, making friends around the world and exploring cultures, nature and of course the food, this seems like the right community for me.

I‘ve recently found out that travelling by bike is becoming my favourite type of travel, since you really come across places people normally dont go and therefore make interesting discoveries

Back home i have an old firetruck that I converted (not fully tho… still lots of work to do 😏) and i‘ll be on the road with it sometime next year…. and hopefully for a good amount of my life. Although i have limited Couch availability i will definetly offer my van as a surfspot once i‘m home again.

I always like to meet new people connect around the world and enjoy learning about how people live, laugh and especially eat around the world. I love to cook and am therefore always on a culinary journey of discovery, preferably of course with people who know their way around certain places :)

Since this is my start of this Cs journey i hope you will give me a chance grab foot on this platform :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to meet fellow travellers and locals, to get to know cities and countries in a completely different and authentic way. I have often realized how different a trip to a new place is while staying at someones home or meeting up with locals who can show you how they live.
