We are Luis and Vanessa. We are a Venezuelan couple living in Madrid for over 10 years. We are passionate about travel, food and different cultures. We love meeting new people, exploring cities, trying new flavors.

Luis is a computer engineer and he loves photography and music. I'm a translator and I love languages, cooking and reading. I lived in France (Besançon) for a year working as a Spanish teacher. We are both foodies and we love to share photos on Instagram.
Right now we are traveling around Southeast Asia on a budget and we are loving every minute of our experience on this side of the world! We quit our jobs, left our rented apartment and grabbed our backpacks to go and make our dream come true.

We haven’t hosted anyone yet because when we were living in Madrid we had a very tiny studio. However, we would love to host people whenever we have a bigger place to live 

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We really think that Couchsurfing is a great community that allows you to meet new people, enjoy a new place with local people (which we found is the best way to get around a city) and share experiences.
