ABOUT ME

I lived in Peru until I was 10, then Long Island until I was 18, then Buffalo ever since.

I'm pretty easy going. I love to learn about history and how to do new things. My roommate just got me into chess and I've been nerding out about it pretty hard lately. I also enjoy exploring cities, going to great restaurants, and hiking.

PHILOSOPHY

Books - As I was thinking about all my favorite fiction books, I realized that I definitely lean towards stories cyber-punk. Non-fiction is awesome too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As part of my PhD research I've gone to the Peruvian Amazon to study an indigenous language and plan on going again.

I can help you with your Spanish, especially since I've been teaching college-level Spanish for on and off since 2012.

If you're an absolute beginner at chess I can give you some pointers. :P
