Constantly discovering and creating my own self. I don't know how life is supposed to be lived, that's why I'm living it, so maybe I found out it on the way. 😅

So far, there are little things that really matters to me: to breathe, to eat, to sleep, to share and to connect with other beings. In one word: to be.

There are a lot of things that I enjoy: food, beer, to walk, to hike, to read, to dance, cycling, museums, to travel, to know new cultures, to learn, to unlearn...

After some years without a place for my own I finally have a little cosy place that I call home, so you're always welcome to stay so I can share with you a bit of my city and a bit of everything of what I've been blessed with.

Descubriendo y creando constantemente mi propio ser. No sé cómo se supone que se vive la vida, por eso la vivo, así que quizás lo descubra en el camino. 😅

Hasta ahora, hay pocas cosas que realmente me importan: respirar, comer, dormir, compartir y conectar con otros seres. En una palabra: ser.

Hay muchas cosas que disfruto: la comida, la cerveza, caminar, hacer senderismo, leer, bailar, montar en bicicleta, los museos, viajar, conocer nuevas culturas, aprender, desaprender...

Después de algunos años sin un lugar propio, por fin tengo un pequeño y acogedor lugar al que llamo hogar, así que siempre son bienvenidos a hospedarse conmigo para poder compartir con ustedes un poco de mi ciudad y un poco de todo con lo que he sido bendecido.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, this part is in Spanish and I'm kinda lazy to translate and actualize it at this moment... 😅

Música: Decir que me gusta toda la música sería mentir, pero me gusta casi toda, o al menos me gustan canciones de todos los géneros que alguna vez haya escuchado. Nunca me aburro del Jazz, la Clásica y los Ritmos Latinos (por mencionar algunas mega-categorías)...

De películas también me gustan bastantes, de gustos algo comunes y snob supongo: cine independiente, y las típicas pelis que ganan la palma de Oro en Cannes.

De libros, ahí si me voy a atrever a ser un poco más específico:
Borges me picó un día y me he podido liberar de él, de alguna manera me siento ahora ligado (¿o lo estuve siempre?) a sus perplejidades.
Dostoyevski y Herman Hesse ya me habían influenciado antes, y me arrastran cada que pueden al abismo del sin sentido, a la soledad que soy.
Victor Hugo y Dumas me hicieron un romántico empedernido y acompañaron mi adolescencia.
Pero más les agradezco a Gunter Grass y a García Marquez por la magia de lo absurdo, por la belleza del sin sentido, por sus mundos que me sacan sonrisas cada que los releo.
Me faltarán por mencionar otras cien autoras y autores por el paseo que ha sido mi vida de lector, pero traté de mencionar aquí a quienes más siento presentes en todo momento.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

He corrido, nadado, bailado hasta morir, trabajado durante horas, me he desvelado toda la noche para escribir cuentos y ensayos académicos, he pintado, esculpido y participado en batallas de poesía, he cantado canciones que creí no me saldrían, he caminado grandes distancias, he pedaleado otras tantas, he conversado por horas y me he divertido jugando juegos de mesa, he dormido al aire libre y he dormido acompañado, he amado y he sido profundamente amado, he dicho un montón de cosas y escuchado un poco menos, me he ido a vivir lejos de casa y he regresado más de una vez, he hecho cosas que no puedo escribir aquí y cosas que sí pero me da flojera, así que para resumir diría simplemente que he vivido, y eso es lo suficientemente increíble.

Teach, Learn, Share

I use to be a professor when in my city, and it's one of the things that I enjoy the most in my life.
I've studied sciences, philosophy, history and arts in different degrees, but constantly trying to keep learning about everything I can. So, I can and really line to teach anything I could know.

I also have a little set of various practical knowledges, like electricity and plumbing or cooking, and other useful things.

I really like to cook for others, so ask me and I'll do it. c:

What I Can Share with Hosts

I offer my help in whatever is needed. I try to offer my help directly when seeing a need, but please feel free for asking me any help if you feel I could help.

One thing I will ever do even without asking is cook for you. I really enjoy sharing food, and cooking for others. And of course sharing the tea, coffee, beer or whatever that serves at an excuse for a good talk.
