ABOUT ME
*(CS profile 2.0)*
About me, i like to think to think im fairly outgoing and a nice person to be around with. Im generally up for a good night out or a quiet night in, depending. I really enjoy music and particularly playing guitar, however, alot has left to be desired though. Its nice to practice with other couchsurfers and i welcome anyone with any musical talents.
I always like to have a great discussions with people either about politics, philosophy or art. Its always a great way to know more about people and always reveals their interests more deeply.
Anything else you want to know, just give a message or read my references or even better accept my couchsurfing request :D

All the couchsurfing experience has been amazing, so many stories to tell about certain events and people all gained through couchsurfing.
Interests
I have many interests and hobbies. It happens only occasionally but i enjoy gaining new interests through other people. I like to think that if you talk about your interest with enough passion it can influence anyone!!
Apart from Movies, Music and books,as explained in the appropriate section :D , I really enjoy travelling (who doesnt). The only major i have done though, is the summer of 2011, where me and two other friends inter-railed across europe. Did a bit of couchsurfing as well!!!
Travelling is a great way to meet people and see different sights, there is nothing like it. Id like to travel the world if i could and if i had the money to of course.
Another great interest of mine is SCUBA diving, i am a qualified rescue diver and i have dived many places. Nothing beats the experience of breathing underwater, it would be nice to combine travelling and SCUBA diving together but again quite an expense.

Music, Movies, and Books
Plently, too much too name!
Movies:
I have a love for films and am always in the mood for a film. I am a regular cinema goer (specifically at tyneside cinema, which is a great cinema visit), i have also done a course on script writing and written my own short film. I keep a dream/thought diary to inspire ideas, but no major feature film material yet!!
My fav films include Fitzcarraldo, Diner, Lawrence of arabia, do the right thing, the night of the hunter and so many more!!!
Music:
I love music and have done ever since i was young. However i have only started learning to play three years ago. I play guitar and piano, and am still practicing! Hopefully to the point of either gigging or at least writing a song :D
My fav. bands include Bob Dylan, Neil young, Fela Kuti, Howlin Wolf, Tears for fears, Devo, Rolling stones, Kraftwerk, Baaba Maal, Lou Reed, Sufjan Stevens, Flaco Jimenez, Sigur Ros, Nick Cave.... So much more
My fav. album at the moment is Nick cave and the bad seeds - The boatman Calls
Books:
I really enjoy reading and although i have only started fairly recently to read books. I have read a few in time which mainly include classics but not all.
Books ive read: (My fav!) The stranger - Albert Camus, Ulysses - James Joyce, Wild Swans - Jung Chang, The little prince - Antoine-saint exupery, Naked Lunch - William burroughs, Moby Dick - Hermann Melville.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing ive seen is The Palace of the Lost City in South africa and particularly its statue of Shawu the elephant! The most amazing thing ive thing done is in France grapepicking, and particularly the last night where me and two mates where competing to sing our national anthem against all the french workers the loudest after a lot of wine tasting :)
At the moment i am an English teacher in China, it is an amazing experience that i will never regret doing.
