Dear couchsurfing community!

I haven’t been online for quite a while now. I was only active on couchsurfing during my time living in Peru. Sadly all the host haven´t left me any recommendations, still I hope this will not scare you off.

I am Luisa, a social worker and performance/ dance artist living in Berlin.
I speak german, English and Spanish. My Spanish is a little rusty at the moment but hopefully it will come back as soon I am in a Spanish speaking country. Currently I am having a quite big phase of transition where I want to leave my comfort zones and grow more. As u might notice I am an open person and always appreciate direct and transparent communication. I am also a person who loves to connect through music and art. So let´s exchange music, for me thats one of the most beautiful interactions you can have with people.

Sadly I currently can’t host people till August this year since our living room is occupied with sublets. After that it should be possible again!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am traveling mostly solo and realized during my last travels that solo traveling can be very lonely. You arrive in cites or places where you don’t know anyone. For sure hostels can be spaces where you can hang with people, sadly I am always landing in hostels where people are not eager to connect. It’s just not for me.
Don’t worry it’s not about entertaining me. It’s about the little things which could enrich my travel experiences more then they had been before. Like for example having a coffee together in the morning or the slice of bread in the evening (that’s a very German thing to do… Abendbrot hahah.) And for sure I would really appreciate if you would like to share the hidden spots of your town. The places where I would normal not land when being on my own. Also I feel like that I am mostly connecting with a place when I have the possibility of learning/ practice the language a little.

My music taste goes from female post punk, to ambient, triphop, baile, soul, bossa nova to RnB.
So its pretty wild and it really depends the time of the year to what music I am listening.
