Some of my friends call me Lulu. I'm living in Berlin.
I always loved to travel and I saw a lot of places in my childhood, because my parents have made a world-tour with me when I was five years old. Now I want to see the world on my own, that's why I'm traveling everytime I have money. In 2015 I traveled New Zealand for eight months.

If you want to stay with me please let me know that you've read my profile. It doesn't matter if you're answering a question like "what's the best country you ever traveled to?", comment on something I wrote or get creative yourself, but it would be nice to hear something personal, otherwise it's likely that I will decline your request.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel the world and make amazing experiences. While doing this, I want to meet friendly people and experience culture - Couchsurfing is about so much more than just having a bed! :-)
After couchsurfing in Sweden I decided to host as well, just because I had a really good time there and thought it's a great idea to have guests myself to show around. It's so much fun to get to know other people, share experiences, stories and time and let them have a great time in another, often unknown, city or even country. It simply feels good to share your view of the city with strangers, who become friends.

Interests

So I definetly love traveling, even a bit more on my own than with companions - it is so much easier. You get to know more locals, you don't have to watch out what someone else wants, you can decide spontaneously, you do not have to prebook anything, etc.. But some times it is also good to have a friend on your side. A friend you have known longer than your couchsurfing-host. Always depends.
When I'm traveling I could look out of the window for ages, I'm totally into landscapes.
Whether traveling or at home I like meeting people, it's always nice to have a good conversation going on. Sometimes it's good to be alone, but most times I hate it. Life is so much better with other people around.
When I don't have human company - or even if I do - I enjoy having animals around. They are amazing. Guess I like almost all animals, exceptions prove the rule.
So that's clearly me, myself and I.
What else about me? I collect shot glasses from all around the world. Just enjoy having all these cities and countries around me. Also I always try to taste beer from different places. There’s a great app which shows you the beers you’ve already tried and you can rate them.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment I'm not listening to music that much, but if you want to turn something on: go for it. Just a few years ago I couldn't imagine a world without music, I loved rock music and metal (e.g. Shinedown, Rise Against and Billy Talent or Korpiklaani, Alestorm and Avenged Sevenfold). When I am listening to music now it is mostly radio, which means charts.

I’m not really a movie-person, rather like to go out or spend time with friends, talking.
For books it’s a bit different, I enjoy reading them from time to time. At the moment I’m quite a lot into books about other countries or travel stories.
