About Me

Hey my dear travelers!
I would love to hang out and exchange cultures or life lessons 🤗
I am a rather introverted and shy person and I need some time to warm up, especially in big groups 🙊 so please be understanding but according to my friends I make up to the awkward get to know time and can be really fun later haha. I hope you extroverts can adopt me 😅

So I hope I will meet spontaneous, life-loving people, who just enjoy showing me around and take life how it comes, because the best stories happen, when you plan nothing and let life happen 😊

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I first heard about couchsurfing I was thinking like ah that’s a nice way to travel cheap, but isn’t it a bit scary, because there are so many mean people who maybe try to kill you or something, so I remained pretty sceptical. But after my friends started to host people in their flat and also travel to other countries and staying their with other couchsurfers I finally realized wow couchsurfing is definitely not just a cheap way to get around but actually a place where like minded people can meet! So with seeing all the positive experiences my friends made I started giving couchsurfing a try and already had some of the coolest days in my life! Even if you’re not able to host someone you still can give so much, with simply meeting and getting to know people from other countries sharing your cultures with each and even if you might not be able to understand each other it doesn’t Matter, because that’s actually the funniest and most memorable way to get to know each other and feel a connections without words but just a smile and gestures! So I really look forward to get more of those memories and being able to share something from me and my home with other people and also can be able to learn as much as possible from them, that’s kinda the main reason why I love to be on couchsurfing and hope to meet other people who feel the same and are open to teach me their way living :D

Interests

- I Love to learn new languages even though I can only speak german English and try my best with the Swedish language I love to learn random phrases from other languages :D
- I really love geography and my goal is to know all the countries and their capitals but especially the islands still freak me out hahah (I also enjoy going to google maps and go to random places with google streetview and see all the different parts of our earth, this might sound weird hahah but I can really suggest you to try it out hhah I really hope I don’t seem to weird 😂)
- Football (i Play Football or soccer since I am a little kid, but to be honest it’s much more entertaining to play it yourself than just watching it even though the World Cup is something I really enjoy watching)

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m open for a lot of different things so it’s hard to pick my favorite music, movie or book

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think when it comes to traveling I think the craziest thing was that I went to North Korea :D I don’t know if it can be considered something amazing but definitely was super interesting!

Teach, Learn, Share

I honestly feel like I can’t teach you so much of course my knowledge about Germany is there, but I honestly feel like if it comes to traditions Germany ist compared to others cultures really boring and has not to offer so much, which I think is because of our history, so if you’re interested in that there i can tell you a lot about hahah, but I know that can be a boring topic so I am pretty sure if we end up meeting I will mostly ask you about your culture and country :D so be prepared that I am really interested in e.g. how your daily life differs from mine or things you do differently and why 😅

What I Can Share with Hosts

Travel experiences, good music, weird German humor, even though it’s said that we Germans don’t have humor :P
