Overview
About Me
I am Italian but I live in Nizhny Novgorod (Russia), because I study Russian at the local NGLU. I love travelling and meeting new people, I teach Italian to foreigners and I love my job because it gives me the chance to kill my prejudices and stereotypes (...and create new ones! :) ).
I still have not found "my place" in the world, so my life is an open search for something amazing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have never been on couchsurfng but I want to try as soon as possible!
Interests
I am interested in languages and linguistics, cultures from all over the world and geography ( actually I AM a geographer). I read a lot, listen to music, but the thing I like the most is taking long walks in the city, without a clear target.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love every kind of music, from ELECTRO to classical. I like singing, I had some bands when I was studying, I play the piano and started playing the drums.
I read three or four books every month, now I am in Russia so I tend to read Russian writers, such as Bulgakov or Turgenev.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Between 2013 and 2014 I have spent a year of my life volunteering in the Mari-El Republic (Russia). I worked with children (summer camps, orphanages, schools..) and adults (free classes of English and Italian).
Teach, Learn, Share
Learning new things is a process that is not only related with schools. You can learn a language travelling with other people on a train or listening to foreign songs. Lerning means create links between people, information and places. Living in a foreign country gives the person a privileged glance on things, and this is a chance noone should ever miss.
What I Can Share with Hosts
First of all, I love cooking, this is a real bonus when it comes to share with people! :) This is how it starts...
