About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learn, Live and Love

ABOUT ME

The most important thing about me, is that i'm an environmentalist freak. I can't stand people disposing incorrectly their trash, or wasting a ridiculous amount of water when they are washing dishes of their teeth. I try to consume the least amount of plastic and I hate with all my life the styrofoam. When I grew older, I want to change the world by saving the environment.

I'm a very flexible person and I get along very well with everything, everyone and everywhere, (even if you are a tree killer, i'd to my best to find the other good things you may have). I love to meet new people, because everyone is so different that the things you can learn from one single human being are enormous. I enjoy good conversations but I like even more a good laugh. I love to talk but I prefer to listen, I'm a very good listener. I'm the type of person who doesn't likes to use time unwisely. I like to start my day early, travel, walk, talk, eat, learn, see, hear, experience. Life is lived only once and I support the fact that we have to seize it completely and enjoy every minute of it. I am a vegetarian, love to cook veggie meals and desserts full of sweet things. And I have to admit, I'm a proud tree hugger.

PHILOSOPHY

"When the last tree is cut, when the last river has been poisoned, when the last fish has been caught, then we will find out that we can't eat money."

Be happy without hurting others' happiness.
Be grateful for everything you have. Seize it.
Be useful, help others, the universe will reward you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has been the best thing I've discovered since the internet came out. It's wonderful to connect people around the world who have the same things in common: love to travel and to meet people. I have met amazing people in the times I have hosted and surfed. What I love the most about the hosts I have had is that they really want you to have the best experience of the city and they know that that means they have to be in charge of it. Michael in Belgium showed me around, walked with me through the important places and took me to great beer place. Helena in Portugal took me and a friend to a Champions league game, and Alex in Germany took us to the craziest new year eve party I have ever been to!

Interests

I freaking love documentaries. I have almost seen all VICE documentaries. I love reading novels, traveling is what I live for. My favorite sport is eating. I also love cooking, but eating is the best moment of my day. I love meeting people, laughing, partying, and hearing good music.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music that I can dance to: from Salsa to Electronic music, and music that makes me feel confortable like Jazz, Blues and Funk among others.

Watching a good movie or reading a good book it's always a pleasure. My favorite writer's are Milan Kundera and Haruki Murakami, and my favorite director humm.. maybe something between David Lynch, David Fincher, Guy Ritchie, Jean Pierre-Jeunet and Woody Allen. But lately i've become a documentary freak. I can watch about 5 documentaries each week, VICE are my favorite ones, but the BBC has also some amazing ones!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Swam with rays in San Andrés, Colombia!!!! I even grabbed one for a beautiful picture I have there in my photos :D
- See Mt McKinley for almost 12 hours!! Only 30% of the people who go to Denali National Park in Alaska gets to see it.
