Hello everyone!

My name is Luis and I am a 26 year old from Spain. I have been living in Hamburg for the last two years. I worked in Affiliate Marketing for the last 5 years. I decided to quit my job and then the whole Coronavirus crisis started. Luckily I found a workaway in the north of germany for three months. Now I would like to do some travelling but always within Germany / Austria or neighbouring countries.

I like to talk and listen to people’s stories. I feel comfortable with people around me, so I would say I am quite social. Travelling and living abroad has been a major part of my life. I have been living abroad since I am 16 years old.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been a member of Couchsurfing since 2012, that means that I was 18 the first time I couchsurfed and I have been using this platform for the last 8 years, unbelievable how fast time goes. I use couchsurfing for obvious reasons. I place to stay with locals where you can make much richer experiences while travelling. I find Couchsurfing one of the best ideas of this century.

I must accept that I haven't been so active on the platform from the last few years. However I heard a lot of negativity from CS. That is all about sex, dating website, not save etc. I have never experienced something like that through my hosting or being hosted.. I trust people from CS. I think it is a great community and I would like to support it. I am proud to have been using CS so many years and I hope this idea, website and spirit never dies out.

So now that I plan on travelling more I would like to go back to the CS and meet some amazing people.

Interests

I'm an outgoing person and I love being outside. Having a beer with friends, going for a walk, riding my bike.

However I can also enjoy a nice lazy day at home: playing video games (big fan of role games and Magic the Gathering), watching movies or reading a book. I am a football fun and I like st.pauli and FC Barcelona. I also enjoy making videos in my free time. Have a look at my instagram for you to see what kind of videos I make (IG: Sitoluisito).

I like to cook spanish things and breakfast. I really enjoy preparing a nice breakfast, I find it the nicest food of the day. I love indian food, ramen and spicy stuff. Pizza anytime. I actually just enjoy eating a lot, no matter if it's cooking or in a restaurant.

I like all types of music and when I say all I really mean it. People laugh a lot about my Spotify saved songs since the music styles are so different. I also enjoy concerts, festivals and dancing.
I have a cat named Lily. I really like animals especially dogs, cats and horses.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer of 2020 I spent 3 in a Horse farm. What a time I had! I found this experience through Workaway and it was truly amazing. I learned lots about country life and horses.
