About Me
Hi there! I have graduated high school in Germany this year and I am moving to Hamburg this summer to start university, where I'll be doing Chinese Studies. As you can probably see in my profile, I love language learning and exploring new countries and cities, as I am convinced that every place has its own charm that you have to experience first before having an opinion about it.
Thank you so much for hosting, having an open house although it is so much work!
Interests
Learning languages is my greatest passion and I would be so grateful to learn from all of you during a stay. Besides that, I love arts and personally do lots of pencil, ink, watercolour and charcoal drawings myself! I've also been playing the cello since I was little and am always interested in getting to know new music.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't have a specific genre that I like to read - as long as they are good books! Favourites include Anna Karenina by Tolstoi, German authors like Uwe Timm, Wolfgang Borchert etc. and classics by Virginia Woolf and E.M. Forster. Recently got into poetry as well. I would love to get to know new literature!
My music preferences are an absolute chaos. From the 80s songs that my parents know by heart, soul of the 60, 90s US hip-hop, and French chansons by Charles Nougaro to the latest German indie... I am open to almost everything!
Teach, Learn, Share
I grew up with parents and grandparents who always had an open house, hosted friends and even people that they only knew through other people without hesitation and it gave me so much throughout my life. Whether it were Indian teachers from Delhi or my French host brother - most of these friendships broadened the horizon for that little girl from the small town that I was, and taught me how to be kind and open in life!
Countries I’ve Visited
