LOVE

a freshly made bed, the scent of sun creme, going to the cinema on a hot summer afternoon, winterpalais, getting in the right queue at the store, the smell of soaked bark mulch, the calm before the storm, keeping on nodding terms with the person I used to be, gentle summer breezes, falling asleep to the gentle pattering of the rain, second-hand books, the symbolism of lighthouses, following a cloud across the horizon, the exhilaration of pure winter air, finding happiness in little things, the impossibility of folding a piece of paper in half more than 7 times, thunderstorms, coming home late and going straight to bed, the contagious act of yawning, honest affection, the glint and glitter of frost crystals in the air dancing like diamond dust in the sunlight, looking somebody directly in the eyes, unexpected moments that become your favourite memories, resting on someone's chest, bookwormering, the preposterous rituals that people resort to get rid of hiccups, collages, the silence of close friendship, that you've taken the time to read this, the freedom of the present moment, l'esprit de l'escalier, answers, questions, Kribbeln im Bauch, delusional moments of grandeur, meeting people that happen to change your life, cucumber lemon ice cream, holding hands, squeezing one more brushful out of the toothpaste tube, the art of reading faces, fresh herbs and especially dill and Italian parsley, getting off the train when the chorus starts and having that outstanding film material moment, wasabi peas, making another person genuinely laugh, the rhythm of ocean waves, remembering why I went into a room, racoons, putting together this kind of list, perfectly peeling off the price sticker, that moment when you see the waiter approaching on the horizon with your food, running my fingers through lentils, the scent of a powder brush, writing with a pen, finishing a book, French flower shops, a returned smile, New Girl, sauntering through the neighbourhood to look at the Christmas decorations, Butterbrezel, crossword puzzles, pulling the blanket up to the chin, the state of continual becoming, wrapping presents, the prospect of teleporting, life.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything in life is temporary. So if everything is going well, enjoy it because it won't last forever. And if things are falling apart, don't worry. It can't last forever either. Talk to one another, look up from your phone, be social withouth the media, discover the world, make the most of today. We type as we walk and we chat as we talk. Give people your love. Don’t give them your like. Find what and who it is that makes you happy and you're set. Change the things you can and accept the ones you can't. Open your mind and heart to new things and people. Stop being unhappy with yourself. Without your soul, your body, your personality and your quirks, you wouldn't be you. And why would you want to be anyone else? Be confident with who you are. Be honest. Smile. It will draw people in. Your happiness does not depend on others. Be happy because you like who you are. Love your imperfections. They make you you. And this "you" is certainly pretty amazing. We don't have to live forever. We just have to live at all.

Music is a huge and vital part of my life. I love going to concerts and festivals. I love the exciting tingling before, the infinite bliss during and the euphoric exhaustion after a good concert.

I also love losing myself in a cosy read or a thrilling film.
