About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make the world a better place.

ABOUT ME

Im an easy going guy, I get impressed by simple things, I feel insignificant when I see at the night sky, and thinking about the Universe gives me the chills. I love nature, in fact I study it and fight to comprehend it. I like outdoors, I enjoy climbing mountains and being in places where not too many people have been before.I enjoy music in general, I think it's a form of human expression, and I'm sure the world would be a sad and depressive place without it.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't be brain lazy. Think. Thinking a particular thought, analyzing it from different angles, seeing it from different perspectives and placing it in different contexts can help you understand why the things are the way they are. This is particularly useful if you travel since contrasting realities is, perhaps, the only way you grow, and the only way you really learn another culture.
So don't stop thinking and never stop exploring.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Im part of many of the CS groups in the city where I live. Now being Madrid. I have had great experiences in the international meetings.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done some CS in NYC, Madrid, Cologne, Berlin and Prague; But I haven't hosted anybody yet.

Interests

Im deeply interested in knowing. Knowing people. Knowing their cultures, and exchanging philosophies. Knowing nature is my life-goal. I might not get it done by the time I die, but that doesn't bother me. There are few things I enjoy more than a good, brain teasing, book a cold Czech Beer, and a good fire next to my tent.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't read too many non-technical books. Although I have a few good reads in my bookshelves. I have enjoyed very much reading Merezhkovsky, Orwell and Russell. Some Bukowski, Hemingway, Tolkien and Asimiov have also been in my hands.
My favourite book might just be The Romance of Leonardo Da Vinci by Dmitry Merezhkovsky.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

...Once I spend several minutes contemplating an incandecent neon bulb. Its amazing all the physics going inside that simple little thing. I think you can make an afternoon out of anything if you look at it with the right attitude.
I know you were expecting something a bit more epic, or transcendental, but I think real beauty hides in every day details.
If you want, I will think of something more visually pleasant than a light bulb, after you buy me a beer ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

Nature extremizes the action.
