Overview
About Me
I guess other people can talk about me better than i could do it myself - but in general, i'm always eager to learn new things, meet new people, listen to their stories and have a good time.
I'm very respectful regarding personal space and cultural differences - and i consider myself being an easy-going person, i don't take up much space, like to keep my stuff organized and am not picky at all. I'm pretty chill.
I also like going out for a drink and party as well as spend the day hiking in the middle of the woods. The best is to hang out with nice people no matter where.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Great landscapes, great books, great music, great events, etc really are great, but they can be even greater if we start connecting - if we share such amazing experiences with others.
That's why i think couchsurfing can play a big part in making a trip a great experience (although i'm new here on the official CS website, i've had some c-surfing experiences around Brazil)
Interests
people, people's stories, languages, good food, listening to stories, cultures, travels, walk in nature, social movements, sustainability, collaborative consumption, hiking, camping, tree climbing, good food again, cycling, diving, philosophy, having good conversations, good wine, new music, learning new things etc.
Music, Movies, and Books
i like books that bring up images to my mind - good, bad, crazy, surreal, beautiful whatever image.
I like short stories - especially the metaphysical narration of Haruki Murakami. And i like to read essays and thoughts/theories of other people, great thinkers or great humans in general.
Movies: whichever!! i'm always open to new movie suggestions =) biographical, historical, documentaries, fantasy, scifi, non-sense, classicals etc
Music: as long as the singer is not shouting and making weird noises thats ok. I like to dance latino dances, reggae, chill music, electronic, whatever - depending on the mood.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hanging out with amazing people (who became great friends of mine) while living for 2 years in a crazy place called Pearson College by the west coast of Canada - Pearson College being part of the UWC movement offered me the chance to get to know outstanding people from all over.
Also, during that time, I could scuba dive with sealions, go snow-shoeing on a mountain nearby, tree climbing and latino parties;
Once I had to "run away" from hurricane Ernesto in Mexico while backpacking by the south.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always open to learn new things, new languages, new skills, visit new places...
Teaching... well, i can cook an egg on a stick in a campfire. I can teach how to make good caipirinhas too.
