About Me

I'm a marketing professional for a non-profit coworking space and incubator. I'm also a folk writer and musician. Live a few blocks from the US-MEX international Bridge. Happy to host travelers, musicians, and artists. Anything else just ask :)

Love couchsurfing when I travel, so I want to pay it forward as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For one, I love meeting people. I'm a social butterfly of sorts. I also look to spend as little as possible on travel (as anyone) in order to see and do more.

Interests

I love chatting up strangers. I'm the guy that talks to the waitresses and cashiers.

I love being out, seeing live music, eating new foods, watching sunsets, and walking aimlessly.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Everything. Radiohead, The Strokes, Paul Simon, Creedence, Fleetwood Mac, Van Morrison, Tame Impala, Middle Brother, Doubie Brothers. The list is oddly arranged, I know. Lately I've been listening to modern psychedelic and female led bands.

I love anything by the Coen Brothers (esp. Burn After Reading) or Wes Anderson. My favorite films also include There Will Be Blood, Silver Linings Playbook, Moonstruck (I know...), and too many others to name here.

I love reading poetry and non-fiction, especially philosophy. My favorite novel is 'Tinkers' by Paul Harding. Anything with an interesting premise or a very human touch is good for me. The fantastically romantic bores me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't know if I have much to teach but my experiences and perspective.

I'm open to learning and experiencing everything I can in life. Learning where people come from and what they've done to get to where they are is always inspiring to me.

I'm an open book.

If anyone needs help with music or writing, I'm open to share my knowledge.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My wine and beer. A cigarette if you need it. My guitar (if you don't pop the strings). And anything that comes up.

Countries I’ve Visited

England, Ireland, Mexico
