Overview
About Me
I kind of dislike having to describe myself, I never know what to write - and I end up recurring to the same trick, just stating how much I dislike describing myself and that I'd rather let other people find out.
What I can do is give a bit of a shallow idea about me: I'm a Spanish guy born in the beautiful island of Majorca, in the Mediterranean sea. After spending all my youth (Just kidding, I'm still young :D ) in that island I found it was too small to stay forever. Then I moved to Leeds, England, where I stayed for 4 years before I went on a 14 months trip that's probably one of the best things I did in my life.
After that I moved to Iceland, where I always dreamt of living - And this is where I am right now.
NOTE TO SURFERS:
Being a host in Reykjavík really demands that I spend some time every day catching up with requests, trying to give everyone an answer (although sometimes a few days late) but I just thought I'd become more selective.
If you want me to host you, give me some hint that at least you've read my profile, and definitely don't state that you're trying to find a host to save the money you'd spend in a hostel because Iceland is very expensive - That's something that from now on I'm not even going to answer.
Also, please read my couch description - I've actually not got a problem with anyone about that, but read it especially if you're two people.
I hope I don't sound too harsh :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well, the starting point was my (by then) flatmate Alex who got me into it when we were both living in Palma. We hosted several people between 2011 and 2012.
I found it great, and was glad he introduced me to it. Since then I've done some surfing myself, and also met couchsurfers around - In Finland, Vietnam, Poland, and even when I moved to the UK I stayed with the perfect host until I could settle down.
I like it because it's not about accommodation, it's about meeting people. I've learnt, I've made friends, I've done things that I wouldn't have done and also I've tried to give something back as well.
Interests
I pretty much enjoy watching films, series, I love listening to music (I always have music on, whatever I do) and I try to read as much as I can.
In terms of sport I do sport climbing and bouldering. I also love going for a good trek, and much more if it involves wildcamping.
I guess I can say travelling is one of my main hobbies, it's the kind of thing that if I stopped doing, I'd probably be deeply depressed.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite film of all times is Aliens, and I'm so in love with it that I doubt any other movie will take the place.
In terms of music, my taste is quite wide, or so I like to think, listening to music I can jump from Sigur Ros to Aphex Twin easily.
I try to read of any genre, but I can say I have a weakness for Science-fiction and anything that reminds me of the beat generation.
