About Me

I describe myself as a citizen of the world :)

My friends describe me as a crazy and enthusiastic clown, charming and smiley, able to enjoy like a child the simple instants. Present. Connected to my inner child.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been couchsurfing in few places, and did it a lot in friends' places and friends' friends' places :)

When I do couchsurfing, a stranger is opening to me her/his home, so I put myself in a state of mind of respectful attitude and open-mindness. I adapt myself to any requierement of my host (getting up early in the morning, no cooking meat in the house, or coming back early from the city). In exchange of hospitality, I usually do dishes, tell bad jokes (some of them even make people laught!) and cook spanish Tortilla de patata (and I am a very good listener!).

Interests

Taking pictures, enjoying local cuisine, listening foreign music in unknown languages... I consider myself as an adventurer :) Last years I've been practicing meditation, and I am learning how to play a harmonic.

Music, Movies, and Books

As I I could write and endless list, i will name just a few tittle that changed my life, let's say...

-Movies: Truman's Show, Moonrise Kingdom, Big Fish...
-Books: Discworld (Terry Pratchett), Peter F. Hamilton and science fiction in general, A song of Ice and Fire (I don't give a shit about the TV show), What is the what (Dave Eggers), The Name of the Wind, Herman Hesse, Stephen King, eastern literature, etc
-Music: Balkan music in general, indie, power metal, electro-swing and jazz...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being rescued by a helicopter :) Long story

Teach, Learn, Share

To be here and now.

I love to try local cuisine, and music is what I consider the most representative of the identity of a culture... So I would love you to show share with me music from country / language! :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking, i'm not a chef, but i'm happy when a learn something new, or at least trying... I would love to try something from your country, and to show you some spanish dish, I enjoy the intercultural thing through my stomach :P

I'll be so happy sharing music from around the world, so playing some songs and bands i discovered during my trips and from my friends, and showing you as many of my favourite bands and singers as possible. Life is music, and i think is the most complex expression of culture, so my favourite way to "touch" other cultural identities :)
