About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Visit the world and leave my mark in the world trying to make it a better place

ABOUT ME

Above all I am an active person that considers spending an afternoon or a weekend laying in front of the TV a waste of time.
I love travelling and meeting new people and making them laugh and have a good time. I am not a party animal but can turn into one if it´s necessary. I also like a lot the idea of travelling with the minimun necessary and meeting new people that can add to the experience of visiting a foreign country.

PHILOSOPHY

There shouldn´t be enough space in your brain to remember all the interesting things you do throughout all your life.
The human brain is a vast and relatively unknown thing so to make sure I fulfill my philosophy I must do a lot of interesting stuff.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just a newbie, trying to experience it and become more involved.
I belong to a european student association and I have taken part and organized many international events, meeting people I didn´t know and showing them my city and my region.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As I said I am just a newbie.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and books, although I hardly see any movie.
About books I like many different books, from poetry in spanish (Neruda, Espronceda, Machado, Miguel Hernandez), to mountaineering stories (Terray, Bonatti, Harrer, Jon Krakauer and the soon-to-be published and recently perished on Annapurna Iñaki Ochoa), to novels about spies (I must thank my father here because he has all the books by John LeCarre).

I also like many kinds of music, though rock music is my favourite. To give some names: Franz Ferdinand, Heroes del Silencio, La Fuga, Sabina, Goran Bregovic, Iron Maiden, Rammstein, Los Delincuentes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living one year on erasmus. Building with some friends our own "peña" (kind of private recreational pub) in our very small village

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm, there´s no skill that I am world expert at but I like juggling and can do some tricks with the devilstick. I can also cook traditional spanish foods decently.
Most of all I like the idea of showing my city and its surroundings (which you won´t find in tourist brochures)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Croatia, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
