About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Surf & Travel, mountains. Taking a break from work to explore and travel a bit - therefore, my couch will not be available in the next months...
----------------------------------
Older description:
I want to smile, travel, meet other smiles :) :) :) ..and dance everywhere I go :)
ABOUT ME
Update: the below profile is a couple of years old, am not the super-enthusiastic person I used to be anymore. Grew ...older :( I guess :)---------------------------------------------------*:)
I'm a very positive person, smiley and sociable. I love dancing (argentine tango mostly this period :), traveling (I'll never give up these two passions; in fact I wish to teach dance someday :) ...ideally for free. I also love the mountains and life in the streets, whether is street theatre, free hugs, just people hanging in a plaza or ...one of the coolest things: music and dancing in the streets :) I enjoy extreme sports (sky-diving, surfing, mountaineering), I also enjoy the beer evenings on our balcony with my flat-mates. I like to meet new people and usually I'm a very active and energetic person. I believe it is very important to try to do what you like as much as possible, so that you accumulate and leave behind positive emotions, memories, thoughts, experiences, energies :) ..in every forms :)
PHILOSOPHY
Trying to understand the other ...and there's never too much smileying in this world :) :) :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Try to make connections and have positive experiences with people I meet; maybe make new friends
Exchange of ideas, having fun, helping eachother anyway we can, just hanging with somebody and knowing that person a bit :) ..
All these things just ROCK!! :)
CS meetings & events. Coffee, drinks, pubs.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Great so far :)
met lovely people, went to nice meetings, organised some events and surfed some friends:
As a guest: I have surfed couches in Sweden, France, US (Calif., Hawaii), Slovenia, Berlin and cities from Romania :) (not members of CS, but people from my group of friends).
As a host: I host friends when I have the chance or people that I meet, feel confident about (like the Belgrad guys I had just met at a seminar in my hometown years ago - it's the first hosting experience of non-friends people that I remember).
...And usually there is a flow of people in our apartment - but many not-yet-CS people :)
At the places I've lived before I have also hosted people from other countries that I've met in youth exchanges and trainings organized by the youth NGOs I was member of (Youngsters Without Borders, European Network Of Animation - social and street animation)

Sports (Running, basketball, voleyball, tennis, extreme sports - including changing subways at rush hours in Unirii station :),

Music, Movies, and Books
http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=7239169544268439911&hl=en
-this is a great movie, just click and watch :) It's only a few minutes :) .spread it out :). it's about finding truth and love, and spreading it :)
Jeux D'Enfants, Waking Life, Baraka, Ashes and Snow, Scent of a Woman, PS I love you, V for Vendetta, Amelie, Die Welle, Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Easy Virtue, Easy Rider, 3IRON (Bin-Jip)... and dance movies (Tango movies, Step Up 2...) are some that I liked a lot.
Music: everything except manele :) Most of the time I listen rock though. And tango.
Books: Daily psichology or any novel recommended by a friend, ...and anything by Eliade (everything I've read from him so far was great). Currently reading: "Dance, dance, dance" (it's not about dancing) - by Haruki Murakami - this author is surprisingly good :) - try him out.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Skydiving Hawaii, Snowboarding in the Alps, surfing, traveling, dancing...
Teach, Learn, Share
Can teach: Yumeiho - Japanese therapy massage
A few dance steps (tango, salsa, bachata?)
Some Romanian phrases (or other language that I know),
Snowboarding for beginners
Anything else you discover about me and you would like me to share with you,
Would like to learn: playing any music instrument,
any new dance or language (foreign, signs, body, theatre, telepatic? :)
or other mean of expression/communication - maybe you can teach me how to talk with plants (I like plants a lot) ..or the dog language - I wouldn't mind barking with you for a coffee :).
Btw: did u know that the romanian dog has a different barking word than the english "woof", or the french or another country dog :) It's "ham-ham" ("a" like in Bart)
Share: good mood and fun, enthuziasm, smile & laughing, free hugs :)
