About Me

Currently living in Seattle for college but Rio de Janeiro is my hometown and my favorite place to be in the world!

Son, twin brother, loyal and adventurer are the words I like to pick to describe myself. Family and friends are what I value the most in life, as they have always been my main source of love and joy. Besides, I am always seeking for new experiences: literally anything I haven't tried before can quickly become my number one goal for the week.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Every person has its own story and path in life, and I'd love to know more about yours while exploring your city, trying new things and having fun all at the same time!

There is so much to see and learn in the world and I feel like my journey towards it has barely started, so Couchsurfing is for sure a great tool for me to chase this personal development.

Music, Movies, and Books

The field above gives some hints about my favorite music, but I honestly enjoy any music genre, they all have their own roots and background, which makes them unique and therefore special for me. However, recently I have been listening to Portuguese Rap and Brazilian Rock the most.

Favorite Books: Memórias Póstumas de Brás Cubas (Machado de Assis); Capitães da Areia (Jorge Amado).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spontaneously accept an invite from a Brazilian colleague studying in Minnesota to go to Fairbanks, Alaska for two nights to try to see the Aurora Borealis just two months before the travel date.
Of course I said yes, and it was one of the most magical and fantastic experiences I had in my entire life, probably the most majestic phenomenon I had the opportunity to watch with my own eyes.
