ABOUT ME

I am brazilian, and currently i am studying physics at University of Coimbra, in an exchange program (something like Erasmus).
I am a very fun guy, and very open minded too. I enjoy spending some time talking and laughting. I like to tell histories from the places i've been, and also, to listen people's histories of their travels. I really like to truly experience the place where i am, talking to people, trying local foods and drinks, and dozens of new things!
My objective, as a dreamer, is to experience all the kinds of places all around the world, from tropical beaches, to Polar lands, trekking in mountains, living with local people as volunteer, see ruins, forests, etc.
And sure, i keep all of these things registrated on my personal Travel Journal (with pictures, scraps from people that i meet in travels, labels, postal stamps), that i can personaly show you!

PHILOSOPHY

It's easy to know (and it's a fact) that at some time ... we will die! Doesn't matter what cell phone we had, how much money we had at the bank, how much cars, credit cards, or any other good value thing. At the end, in my opinion, the only things that matters are the personal moments with family, friends, places and all the memories of our travels and people we knew, so we don't repent about the things that we DIDN'T when we had the oportunity!

Now i'm living in a relatively touristic city, and during my stay here, i really want to host people, and help them with their travel through Coimbra.
As a surfer, i want to be hosted by local people of the cities i'll travel for, to know better the history and the places, and raise our cultural experiences, keeping good moments on our memories.

- Fanny (a very good friend of mine) for 2 nights here in Coimbra, and also in Rio Claro, Brasil

Interessi

As i said before, i really want to experience all the places of the world. Nothing is impossible, and we must go out through the door, and see the landscapes and people of the world we live.
We have beautifull beaches, tall mountains, amazing ruins, dense forests, large deserts, large oceans, a frozen continent (Antarctica), and thousands of more things! So, why keep the feet in just one of them, if we can go to everywhere?

Almost every kind of music! From Classical, to Classical Rock, Heavy Metal, Punk Rock, Reggae, Surf Music, Electronic Music, etc.
Ah, and sure, local and folk music from the places i travel.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

- I've traveled for half of Chile, from Santiago to middle of Patagonia by hitchhiking, camping on the road, cooking on the road, meeting people on the way and dozens of incredible things! Amazing experience!

- I crossed the entire Scandinavian Peninsula, from Denmark, Finland, Sweden and then Norway, far to the north, to the Arctic city of Tromsø, where i had the great oportunity of be there, in the middle of a frozen lake under the amazing Northern Lights! For me, this was the GREATEST thing i ever did!

- In the summer of 2014 i did a 50 day Eurotrip through 16 countries by train, from London to Italy, all over Europe, reaching Italy by ferry from Greece. Was an amazing thing to see all the landscape and culture changing every 3 or 4 days. Had the opportunity to see Vesuvius volcano, Stonehenge, and lot more.

Also, i'm very interested in learning some nice things about places other people have been, because when i go i'll be able to experience way better!

I think the most important thing i could offer is some good hours of good and very fun and inspirational talk. Talk about the wonderful places worldwide, our dreams and future plans.

Ah, i'm not a good cooker (college student haha), but if i'm able, i'll try some brazilian food. If not, i guarantee i can cook some good food (i hope!).
