I'm a very honest person, active and out going and I love sport. I always need challenges in my life, since that is what makes my life interesting. I'm very uncomplicated and my main goal is to meet people and to get to know their culture. Let's hope you can add something to my experience...it is all up to you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Everytime I couchsurf I realize what a good way it is to meet the people, language and the culture of the destination I'm at!! No better way to learn about the place you're at!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I used couchsurfing in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, China, Mongolia, Russia and Poland!! Doesn't matter which country I visited, there were always great people giving me a awesome experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is a very big part of my life and I couldn't imagine life without it! I love any kind of music, depending on the situation I'm in.

As for movies, as long as they are entertaining, inspiring...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled around the world for 13 months in 2011/2012!
Highlights were diving in Fiji, Fullmoon Party in Thailand, my extreme experience in India, climbing Kilimanjaro, attending the Africa Burns Festival in South Africa, my two month in South America with a good friend and of course Burning Man 2012 in America! In 2013 I travelled through Asia starting in Australia and it's hard to describe what I've experienced in those five months. Some highlights must have been my month traveling through Indonesia, riding a motorbike through Vietnam and Cambodia and my long train ride from China, through Mongolia, Russia back home to Switzerland.

Teach, Learn, Share

The best way to experience a place or culture is not by taking a photo from the sights around it, but to interact with the locals. To eat what they eat, visit the places they visit, talk the language they do (or at least try to) and pretty much follow their lifestyle to understand their behavior and interests. That's for me the real way to travel!
