About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Start my own travel business in Europe.
ABOUT ME
I love traveling, exploring new places and meeting new people. I consider myself open-minded and very easy going. I have been living in China for the past 11 years, organizing outdoor trips for expats and teaching English at a university in Guangzhou. It’s been a fun ride in Asia but now as I’m preparing to move back to Europe, I really want to visit one last country in Asia that has been on my bucket list for a while - Japan!
PHILOSOPHY
I love the quote “the journey, not the destination matters” and I’ve always strived to live by it, live in the moment, enjoy the process, whether it is in traveling, hiking or even work.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My experience with CS started in France in 2009 when I was an exchange student there. Since then I’ve been hosted in many countries and while in China I had multiple opportunities to give back and host others as well which has been an incredible experience. I’ve also joined many CS meet ups in multiple cities. In fact that’s how I met my first group of friends when I moved to China.

Music, Movies, and Books
I used to be a big fan of science fiction books like Lord of The Rings, Hunger Games, but know I mostly read non-fiction in hopes of learning something new and expending my knowledge. Some of my favorites include Sapiens, Atomic Habit, Secret lives of trees.
I love watching movies, especially thrillers, science fiction. There are some movies that I can just watch over and over again, like Matrix, Inception and Star Wars.
EDM is my go to, especially when cycling or in the gym, Illenium, Odesza, Chainsmokers, but there are other genres that I listen to depending on my mood like Mumford & Sons, X Ambassadors, Kings of Leon.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling in Mexico for a month, I was amazed with everything from the culture, food and history to the natural beauty of this magnificent country. While I was there I got to climb one of the highest volcanos in the country Iztaccíhuatl (5,230m) which was incredibly hard but yet so rewarding. The sunrise view from the top is still my all time favorite sight.
What I Can Share with Hosts
CS is all about sharing, exchanging stories, experiences and building meaningful connections. I’m also a pretty decent cook so sharing a meal is also a great way to contribute.
