About Me

I like trees and the ocean and I'm happy like a dog sniffing another dog's behind and finding that it smells like bacon, when I see new ones. I like people, though that statement is restricted to the good ones.
I think the things you send out into the world come home one day, so I chuck out the good stuff, or in short - I'm Hakuna Matataing while I'm around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We're all apprentices of a life we'll never master. So what the heck, why not share the bugger?

Interests

I'm down for close to anything, but some things that keep popping up in my day-to-day life are: Riding waves on big floaty things; Punching people in the face with big red gloves on; Pulling myself up a pole; Jumping around in sand and hitting balls over nets; Zooming down mountains on my iron mule; Flying in big winged machines, which I have no idea of how they stay in the air, to the more remote corners of the earth; Looking at sheets of paper with funny black symbols on them; Scribbling said symbols on sheets of paper myself; and the old time classic of stepping out of my house, followed by severe trouble recalling how I ended up in my own bed, the next morning.

And chess. I like chess.

Music, Movies, and Books

I pondered it and realised that it's impossible to compare chocolate with lasagne.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm rather proud of having gotten myself arrested as 'Illegal Mexican Immigrant to America,' despite being a 191cm tall German.

Teach, Learn, Share

Pinguin tastes like beef.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm happy to share my home and time with you guys. Right now I'm living in a 2-room apartment in Barcelona, a couple hundred meters from the city-beach 'La Barceloneta'. It isn't the Ritz but it has two rooms. One I sleep in with my girlfriend and the other sports a couch, which you, dear guest, can surf in custom of the mi-casa-es-tú-casa prodigy.
