ABOUT ME

The ecological niche that human beings occupy depends on virtual reality as directly and as absolutely as the ecological niche that koala bears occupy depends on eucalyptus leaves

Made of flesh and blood I posses a pair of eyes with their own point of view, a set of ears that hear what they want to hear, a mouth that has limited ability to taste, a nose that can help where mouth have failed, and a skin with a very selective taste for feeling only the warmest and finest objects out there. I also have a brain and a heart that help process all the sensations my receptors create. We go by the name of Luka and we are a great bunch, all of us, we are inseparable, we sleep, work, play together, sometimes we are congruent but most of the times totally out of tune but if you ask any biologist: we are still very much a symphony of life (evolution).

Strange is our situation here on Earth. Each of us comes for a short visit, not knowing why, yet sometimes seeming to divine a purpose. From the standpoint of daily life, however, there is one thing we do know: that man is here for the sake of other men - above all for those upon whose smiles and well-being our own happiness depends.

Proud to be Slovenian I find my mission in Hungary promoting my country and its countrymen. U really shouldn't miss a rare chance to meet a Slovene in his non natural habitat - in a big city not surrounded by woods... it is like watching an elephant dance in a porcelain shop.

Otherwise a quiet, conservative, yet open minded individual, not easily engaged and occasionally, should say almost always, assertive to the point of self destruction.

Ignorance more often begets confidence then does knowledge
trying to locate all the good people on this planet and make them visit me.
You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time you just might find you get what you need.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I can now say Csurfing is the best way for hanging out and making new friends all over the world.

One of the better ones: A very close friend of mine, Slovenian, a newby on CS. As part of his first Cs experience we Csurfed Istanbul in May 2008. Met with amazing local CSers, one of them stood out, she was special. A local girl named Alev... things happened, sparks flew, rockets took off...

...14 months and at least 8 trips (not mine) later I returned to Istanbul. Matej and Alev were getting married.

Background: living with Canadians, Italians, French, Hungarians for a while in Budapest, France and after again in Budapest were good starting credentials.

兴趣

A sports addict. Though only as a hobby most of my sport involvements border on obsession. Marathons, Iron-mans, Long distance swimming, occasional skydiving, and Yoga.
Sport is like eating for me. A necessity to survive:).
