Hi there! I'm Lukas :)

I grew up in Switzerland and travelled around the world quite a bit. During that time I made fantastic experiences with Couchsurfing and now I want to give something back. I just finished a Bachelor of Sciences in Nutrition and Dietetics. Now I'm working at the University of Zurich as a research intern. Also, I'm working as a bartender on weekends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I played in several bands as a drummer. For me, making music means freedom, and is a special language to communicate with any citizen of this world. I also play the guitar, and a little bit of piano.

Favorite music:
- Film music... I love it
- Jazz, Soul, Funk, Reggae
- EDM/Dance music and Techno in clubs

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Played in a duo with two drum sets and won 2nd price during a Prix Rotary music contest
- Pulled two of my wisdom tooths at the same day on which I had my final exams in maths... quite dumb I know.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to introduce you to the culture of Western Europe! This includes the musical side too. So if you stay at my apartment we can play the guitar together! Oh, and if you want to learn German, I'm your man.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My language! I'm fluent in English and of course, if you'd like to practice your German, I'd be happy to teach you.
