About Me

Hi there!

I`m Lukas, 24 years old and from a small village in Germany.

*** Currently I`m not able to host you as I do not have an own apartment neither, but I`m working on it :D ***

I`m looking forward to meeting you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Offering and getting offered nice, welcoming and cheap accomodation!

I set up this account in the run-up to a North America tour. I have never done couchsurfing before and I find it just great! It`s not only about saving money but more importantly about making new friends and exchanging experiences and opinions! Additionally, when travelling, beeing hosted by a friendly person helping you with the first steps is worth it`s weight in gold!

Interests

I`m just a normal guy with special interest in everything that has to do with physics and science in general. I also like talking about physics and answer questions concerning this topic way too detailed :D Currently, I am moving to Spain for an internship at a research institute. Apart from that, I am a passionate lover of busses, coaches and mobile homes. I cannot really tell where this came from :D I do cycling, swimming and cooking in my leisure time.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment it`s Classic Rock, Reggae, Dubstep, Symponic Metal like Nightwish. Depends on the mood and the things I have to do in parallel like studying for example :D When it comes to movies, most of all, I like the Bourne Triology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did an amazing bike tour from Vienna to Bayreuth along the river Danube. The track is 600km which I did in 4 days. This was quite fun! A few months ago, I finished working on my small camper van.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learning is not just for school, but for life. This also means there is a lot left to teach, learn and share!

What I Can Share with Hosts

As mentioned before, I like to teach physics, improve my Spanish and Swedish, and share my knowledge about vehicles :D This doesn`t mean I`m not equally interested in learning about arbitrary stuff like politics, anthropology, psychology, history etc. I normally have an interest in the place I visit beyond the superficial level and I hope I can share the knowledge about my place with you as well!
