Overview
About Me
Originally from Vienna, Austria. Since September teaching language and arts in Paris within an Exchange program. Passionate for music, dance, and learning languages and just for being alive on this beautiful planet. Enjoying the lightness of being, partying and life with all senses. I am optimistic, openhearted, joyful. I also love arts, cooking, wine, old books and deep discussions and octopuses. They rock. Did you know they have eight arms, three hearts and all their body is basically a brain? Sometimes I wish I had their arms to embrace all the good moments out there, their hearts to love everyone and their brain to grasp everything more deeply.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I have a couch. And I like surfing.
Travelling for me is to meet people and to learn from their way of life. I often travel alone which makes me more open to encounter people.
Interests
My travels are part of a search for beauty in nature, in arts & music, in people, in lifestyles... I am a very openminded person and I want to take everybody as he/she is. I like everything inspiring, profound, true, beautiful, rhythmic, tasty.

Music, Movies, and Books
...are simply too much to write them down.
Piano music and a good book for me are related to each other like pasta is to strong red wine.
Jazz, Swing, Bossa Nova, Baroque music, piano music, Electronic music, Alternative rock. There is quite good music coming from Austria these years by the way (Electro Guzzi, Restless Leg Syndrom, Bauchklang, Bilderbuch...)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed a difficult mountain in the austrian alps without training and nearly getting killed. But in the end I killed the mountain. Travelled in the south of France without knowing where to go and where to sleep. Sometimes I do this in my hometown too which upsets other Viennese people.
Teach, Learn, Share
We can share a moment of our lives. I’d love to learn from you. As a teacher I already teach enough, somehow. But yeah I know some useful stuff, too. Like how to make a living without stress. Haha. Piano-playing and pasta recipes. And the Viennese Waltz of course! I learn: New languages (all the time), new worldviews, new pasta recipes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Passion for good food, coffee, wine and arts! And a nice location in the center of Vienna. I’m not rich and so I cannot afford people who only (ab)use Couchsurfing as free-hosting. If you send me a request or I send you an invitation please be a thoughtful and responsible guest. If you don’t know what this means here’s a good read for you:
