About Me
"The greatest distance you can travel in the shortest amount of time is by asking someone their name.
Therefore we must have the courage to claim our curiousity to go beyond anything we ever knew, anything we ever feared.
But it takes two, the host who offers his home and the guest who shares his humanity."
(By Syrian-American poet Amal Kassir, slightly adapted)
Hallo, hello, salut, salam and olá,
the words above summarize pretty well what Travelling and Couchsurfing is all about for me.
You are welcome on my profile!
I am Lukas Leo, a young passionated traveller born and raised in Munich, DE and about to study Social and Cultural Anthropology. On long term I am heading towards audiovisual documentaries.
I am open minded and spontaneous. Since birth I am used to have many people around me; in fact I like to have people around me: so social as well ;) And I love to meet people while travelling, actually human meetings is what I am looking for.
Couchsurfing is a lot about giving and taking for me: sharing.
The host offers his home. He can make the guest feeling both comfortable at his house and familiar within the new environment.
While the guest shares his humanity. He is able to tell his experiences and share his passions. He can help out with things and offer a good company.
So both can have a great time together. Let's do this!
Love and Salam.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I HAVE LEARNED TO APPRECIATE THE SMALL THINGS SO CHOOSING WAS NOT EASY In 2016 I have done a Trans-Africa-Trip by overlanding from the North of the mother-continent to the South together with 14 fellow travellers in a converted Bedford-truck Anno '79 during 6 months. That was deeply life-changing.
