Hello folks

I´m Lukas, 19 years old, from germany and I just finished school.
At the moment I´m travelling Australia, from Perth to Melbourne (solo) and then up the east coast accompanied by a friend.

I´m laid back but ready to adventure as soon as an opportunity opens up. I will keep your place clean and will of course cover my own expenses as for example my food.

I have travelled many places in Europe and met many strangers I´m now calling my friends. Meeting people from other countries and cultures has always been a joy for me and I´d like to continue with that here in Australia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I´m solo travelling at the moment, I´d like to meet new people, spend some time and maybe make some friends along the way.

Further on I´m really interested in meeting locals, have a chat and getting to know places you might not find as the average tourist/backpacker, because who knows the country better than the people that live there?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent two weeks of each summer the past three years in an english town called Sidmouth taking language lessons. Living with host families, I spent the mornings improving my english in class and the afternoons having a good time with my classmates or hostfamily.

Teach, Learn, Share

I´m open for whatever you can teach me, since I´m still rather young I´m thankful for every skill I get to learn.
But eventhough I got plenty of stories to share and am always keen on telling them.

I´m always happy to learn new cooking recipes. :)
Also I would like to learn the basics of surfing during my time in Australia.
