Hey guys,
my name is Lukas and right now i am student in the small city of Lüneburg in northern Germany. I am 21 years old and really looking forward to travel via couchsurfing in the future. If i had to describe myself i would say i am very talcative and always open to learn new things. In my freetime i really love to do sports. I am passionate about kitesurfing and nerly every water sport. Furthermore I would never avoid a good discussion, so if you have any topic you would want to talk about, feel free. As a student there is quite often time left in the afternoons to do stuff. Normally i love to spend this time with friends playing card games or going out to have some fun playing billard, taking a drink or dance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think travelling is the most honest whilst getting to know locals who can show somebody around. They normally know the best places around the city. I am open towards everything new, so doing stuff i haven´t done before would be lovely. Additionally i don´t really like travelling the way most tourists do. Especially the crowded touristic places aren´t the number one go to spots for me. Therefore couchsurfing for me is an ideal way to get to know different insights and make completely different experiences. In my experience with couchsurfing the experience is all about getting to know the people, not finding a sleeping spot. So an ideal couchsurfing experience for me would be to get to know the person i am sleeping at or who is sleeping at my place and to spend time together, getting to know the different cities and the different cultures. Furthermore couchsurfing offers a very nice possibility to practice langugaes or to even learn bits of new languages.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am enjoying nearly every type of music. Right now I would say that I am enjyoing Indie or American-Rap most, but most other music genres aren't bad either. Going out in the evening i love to enjoy some live Blues or Jazz in a bar. In clubs i would rather hear some electro, techno or Hip-Hop.
At the moment my favorite movie got to be "The Intouchables". It's just an amazing movie, nothing left to say there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn new things. As i am fluent in german, english and spanish we could talk and practice in different languages. Furthermore i had the possibility to travel to some countries and make a lot of experiences. I like to talk about these experiences and i am interested in the stories you can share.
