About Me
Hello everyone,
I am a 21 year old IT student from germany loving to travel across the globe. I work as a Junior IT Consultant in the IT Service sector at Atos Information Technology.
In my free time I like to code, read, travel and play the piano.
And a few years ago I was really active in the speedcubing scene (solving a rubiks cube as fast as possible). So, maybe we can go for some random time challenges if you like😃
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I registered at couchsurfing in order the meet new interesting people at the places I visit. It is very interesting to get "insider"-knowledge like tips for places to visit or activities to do. Often I am looking for places to stay.

Music, Movies, and Books
Thats a good question... I have a wide variety of music and reading preferences I am interested in. So you can talk with me about nearly everything :)
I have started playing the piano like 17 years ago at the age of 4/5. I concentrate rather on classical literature from Bach, Scarlatti over Mozart, Chopin to Rachmaninoff and Prokofieff.
I also really enjoy reading. I fullfill the cliche of an IT nerd loving to read all inds of fantasy books, but I ready classical german literature as well. If you know goodreads and want to exchange reading tips, you can add me there. My username is lukas681.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year I did a desert tour through the sahara of Morocco in accompaniment of a group of real nomads. Walking alone with these wunderful people silently over dunes and sand, was an amazing experience.
Ahh, and solved a rubiks cube under 10s as my personal best (16,xx avg)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share you a lot of the german (and bavarian) culture. I am always open to discussions about finding out differences of our cultures :)
I am pretty skilled in table soccer. So if you show me any good tables (Leo, Ullrich, ...) then I can explain you some of the basic tecniques like snake shots, pulls/pushs/pinn and some tactical thinks if you like :)
I can help you with your PC problems... ... To get at a more complex level: I like to exchange coding experiences. (C, Java, JS/TS, ...).
Ahh, and I can learn you solve a rubiks cube. Maybe not, but I can show you how to learn it :)
