About Me
During school I lived a few months in Australia, I became thirsty to see more of the world. I went to Mexico last year and spent 12 months working in a local NGO. Currently I am studying Architecture in Aachen, Germany.
I enjoy climbing and martial arts, rock and beer, guitars and music. Welcome to my life!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Enjoying hostels I also like getting to know the culture of the countries I visit. How could that work any better than with couchsurfing?
Interests
Soccer, climbing, skiing, mountain climbing, martial arts.
Music, Movies, and Books
I tend to enjoy Classic Rock the most. Queen, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, all these cool bands! I might listen to some Jazz or Classic as well, although I do not know any artists I definitely enjoy listening to it. Oh, and last but not least: I cant stand Katy Perry!
Currently I do not read as much as would like to, I have discovered audio books for myself. For fiction I enjoyed The Cartel, a great book about a drug cartel in Mexico.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year I had the opportunity to climb the highest mountain in Mexico, which actually is a non-active volcano, making it the highest volcano in North-America. The cool thing about volcanos compared to the Swiss Alps where I mostly tend to go is its loneliness. There is this huge mountain rising 3000 meter high from its surrounding. The feeling we had during sunrise, having already walked for seven hours was just amazing, watching down on the clouds and observing the shadow of the mountain which would last to the horizon.
