Overview
About Me
I'm currently living and working in Korea after spending a year doing the same in Taiwan. My year in Taiwan was the best of my life. I really learned how to live more fully and I am hopeful to build upon that during my year in Korea.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I originally used Couchsurfing back in 2014 during a solo-bicycle trip I undertook from Edinboro, PA to the Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. I was skeptical, as many are, but was soon relieved once great experience after great experience convinced me of the kindness of people who are willing to open their homes to complete strangers, feed them, and show them the best spots of their town or city.
I'm finally in a position where I can give back to the Couchsurfing community in my neck of the woods in Korea.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Dramas, including historical ("Frost/Nixon") and psychological ("Black Swan"). Perhaps my favorite film is "The Seventh Seal". I usually get around to watching movies a few years after they've come out.
Books: Everything. My favorite nonfiction work is "Roots of Romanticism". For fiction I enjoy the classics mostly. Best short stories I've read: Circular Ruins (Borges), My Purple Scented Novel (McEwan), and Sweetheart of the Song Tra Bong (O'Brien) to name a few...
Music: From Beethoven to BTBAM. Also, jazz.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I solo-rode my bicycle from Edinboro, Pennsylvania to Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado!
