I like to travel mostly because of the people you meet, maybe the adventures one can experience and to see the world.

So I thought it would be great to meet people from all over the world even when not traveling, so here I am.

I generally like to think, that I'm a nice, funny and likeable person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I both host and surf, but somehow I enjoy hosting even more than surfing.
Hosting will probably remain the main thing I do, since I don't have that much time to travel right now.
I also like the local meetings, that occasionally take place.

I've been mostly hosting up to now and have met a lot of great people.
Just recently I surfed as well, and I did like to get to see the places through the eyes of the locals there.

Interests

Travelling is great, if only I had more time...
Recently I came across www.microadventures.org and realized that I don't need to go far away for an adventure, so I'm trying to find the adventures on my doorstep.
Apart from that, I like reading books, cooking (and eating stuff I cooked) and just spend an evening or weekend with friends.
Recently I've started studying part time, which takes up quite a lot of time, but I still enjoy it more than I would have thought.

I always find it hard to describe the kind of music and films I like, because there might be one main direction or sort that I like, but that doesn't exclude all the rest.

Music would be mostly Rock and Pop, but not exclusivley.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving in a crap car (Fiat Panda 4x4) all the way to Mongolia.
In general traveling Europe on my own.
Camping with a Hammock on an uninhabited island in Sweden, being the only person there, or camping rough on the third highest peak in England.
