Hi there!
My name is Łukasz and I am 32 years old. I grew up in a small town called Koło in central Poland. After finishing high school, I studied German language to become a teacher. While studying German, I fell in love with Spanish language and that is why I learned it as well ( mostly on my own). Last year I graduated with a master's degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies from Warsaw University and I am very proud of it. I lived for a while in Germany (two years), Spain (one year), and Mexico (three months). Now I am back in my hometown. :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up for Couchsurfing because I think it is a great way to explore different countries and meet new people with interesting stories to tell. I think Couchsurfing is a platform that allows you to see what you normally can't see while travelling. Here you can meet real people and live their lives for a while which is great!

Interests

Since I can remember, I have always been interested in different cultures and foreign languages. That is why I also tried to learn Arabic and Portuguese. Portuguese is still on my list of things to do, but my priority now is Persian. I hope I learn it in the near future. Besides languages, I also love travelling especially hitchhiking and there are many places I want to visit! I am also interested in politics, history, and current affairs. In my spare time, I cook a lot! Also, I bake delicious cakes!
