ABOUT ME
I am open-minded, spontaneous, ironic and I love to learn about other cultures and different ways of living. Moreover, I am a vegetarian (but not one of the preaching kind - so, don't be afraid! And I won't start crying if you eat meat in front of me, I promise, I am a tough guy! And ironic...oh, have I mentioned that already...wow, there are a lot of words in these parentheses).
Anyway...after finishing school I started studying psychology. My friends at uni got me interested in couchsurfing and fueled my passion for traveling in general. As time was passing by I wanted to see more of the world. Therefore I moved to New Zealand after I had finished my Bachelor's degree and backpacked through the country for nearly half a year. Because that wasn't enough English immersion, I did a four month internship in Edmonton, Canada, afterwards.
Now my next objective is completing my MSc in Rotterdam.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far I couldn't host myself because I only had a tiny apartment room but I hope I will find a bigger stall once I return back to Germany. I can't wait to give some of the hospitality I received back to my fellow couchsurfers!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A good friend of mine told me about the amazing experiences he made with CS and all the different people he met while traveling.
So I thought, why not give it a shot? First, I backpacked through the northeastern part of the US and Canada. It was an overwhelming experience! Meeting so many friendly and welcoming people made the trip even more special.
Afterwards, I got hosted by great people in Germany during a three day bicycle trip and got shown around in Dublin by a fellow couchsurfer.
During my stay in New Zealand couchsurfing made it possible to get in touch with a great number of local people who were so laid-back and welcoming that I just fell in love with the Kiwi way of life.
