ABOUT ME

I grew up in a Europe without borders. Thanks to that I´ve been able to learn about and eventually to love other countries, other cultures and the feeling of strangers becoming friends. I am convinced that borders only exist on a mental level and we can overcome them by respecting and learning from each other.

PHILOSOPHY

The whole secret of happiness is the refusal to see the intrusion of things into your personality as evil (Introduction to the pebble, Ponge)

I am pretty new to couchsurfing, so right know I try to connect to the couchsurfing community. If you want to hang out, travel the surrounding area and have a good time, just let me know!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

- I hosted a CS meeting in New Haven
- With my girlfriend, I couch surfed Michael´s place in New York
- I had an awesome weekend in Buffalo, NY, where i stayed at Andy´s home

Music, Movies, and Books

I play a whole variety of wind instruments such as trombone, tenor horn, trumpet. However, I started with piano back in elementary school. For 5 years now I have been practising beatbox, which adds a whole new level to freedom in music. General kinds of music I like are jazz, ska, reggae, hiphop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spontaneously replaced an artist at a festival in Germany in front of several thousand people and did some beatbox on stage. Quite a memorable night.
