I'm a Belgian student who lives in Antwerp and likes travelling and encountering different cultures. I live in an apartment in the south of Antwerp. I'm a master's student of interpreting and study English, Italian and my mother language, which is Dutch.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As i've already mentioned above, I like meeting new people, especially people coming from different countries and cultures. I believe couchsurfing is the perfect way to get in touch with people from all over the world. Couchsurfing can add a personal touch to a foreign adventure and make your journey more memorable.

On top of that, couchsurfing makes it possible to travel low-budget; a possibility that I would also like to offer to those visiting Antwerp. I can comfortably host one or two people who enjoy the couchsurfing experience like me.

Interests

I'm fascinated by languages and believe that learning a new language can open doors and broaden your world, just like travelling.
I've always liked travelling, travelling on my own, with friends or with family. As a family, we have made many interesting travels and visited a number of fascinating countries. i'm very grateful that I was given this opportunity and hope to continue this traditon for the rest of my life.
Languages and travels are of course not my only interests, I also enjoy spending time with friends and going out in Antwerp. Apart from that, sports play an important role in my life: I enjoying playing football and try to go running a few times a week. Since two years i've taken up a new hobby, acting, which I enjoy a lot.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music, going from popular music to reggae, from classical music to electronic and so on.
The same goes for movies. One of my favourite movies is Good Will Hunting, a Hollywood classic.
Although I like books, I never have the patience to read long stories, and therefore cannot name a favourite title. I hope this will change in the near future.
