Hi,

I guess, I am a pretty relaxed and laid-back guy, almost always happy and easy to hang out with! Probably I am just trying to take life not too seriously and enjoy every moment of it!

Currently, I am travelling with a friend in a Van for some months. Most of the winter we spent in Marocco travelling the coastlines to find surf, experience the Arabic culture & eating delicious tajine’s. We are now on our way back up through Portugal and even though Van life is amazing we decided to go on our own for some time.

I have been to Portugal only once before so I am very excited to travel the country a bit more, explore the beauty of the incredible nature, experience cities like Lisbon and hopefully find some surf. And along the way hopefully meet many like-minded people that spread good vibes, have a positive energy, share their stories and have a good time together :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Actually I am still quite new to couchsurfing but I love the idea of sharing and meeting amazing people! Especially CS gives me the opportunity to connect with locals that I wouldn't meet if I am just staying in hostels! I also always feel that the most memorable moments are more connected to the people I experienced them with rather than the places I visited!

Interests

There is so much to explore in this world and I am always interested to learn more, try new things and find new adventures. But I definitely have a huge passion for sport, for the past years it has been mainly surfing but I played football for a long time and used to spend lots of time in the mountains skiing as well. And recently got a bit into skating. I also got a huge passion for music! I love going to festivals, concerts or a good dj set in a club! Recently been making my own music as well & throughout summer I work on the build of festivals. Can’t wait to be part of the build crew for a Fusion stage this summer. It is always such a good & fun community to create a festival stage together. And after working for a joiner for some time I really got into woodworks so I am excited to learn some more building skills and be creative. On this trip I also got back into spinning my firetoys again which is really fun. However also always curious on new things which I haven’t got in touch with. Would love to learn more about sustainability & environmentalism.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is one of my big passions. I love all sorts of Music and I am always searching for new songs and listen to different Genres. I love electronic music like Downtempo, House, Techno but I also enjoy funky, jazzy and groovy stuff, Reggae, Dub, Hip Hop or peaceful more ambient styles. There is always something for the right mood.

Not really sure what my favourite movies are! I love all the Quentin Tarantino movies! But in general
I prefer funny movies! Definitely no Horror, too scared! Love to watch documentaries to learn about interesting topics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Lived in New Zealand for almost 3 years and met so many good friends which gives me the feeling of having a second home on the other end of the world

- Worked in a social project in South Africa that supported the economical empowerment of people living in poverty!

Everybody is unique and has something to share! Totally open to whatever it will be! Your interests, talents, skills, just what you are passionate about! But definitely would love to learn about your culture and way of living, the food you cook, the music you listen to or instruments you play, go to the nature together or explore the coolest parts of town. If you surf, I can’t wait to go on a surf mission together. More than happy share & teach my skills and knowledge to everyone who is interested :)
