About Me

CURRENT MISSION

enjoy life

ABOUT ME

After finishing studying in 2015 I hitchhiked around for a few months before settling back in Berlin where I started to work for Babbel as a Data Analyst.
I enjoy learning and trying new things. I'd rather end up trying to learn a new language then bored.
I like ice cream, playing cards and cats.
Everyone knows something interesting I don't, so I like meeting new people :)

PHILOSOPHY

learn or do something new every day :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosted a few people since getting my own room in Bonn around december 2012, also surfed a few times. I attended the local meetings in Bonn when I find time and participated both as host and guest in the cooksurfing group in Bonn, where we meet in someones kitchen to cook together.
Since I moved to Berlin I host mostly via trustroots.org (basically cs for hitchhikers, although you don't have to be a hitchhiker to participate) to help that grow.
I try to attend the local meetings at cities I travel to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Always good :)

Interests

I like mathematics a lot, but not enough to spend the rest of my life doing research. I also like traveling (as everyone around here I suppose) and hiking. Also I enjoy cooking, but I'm not really good at it :D
Besides that I like maps a lot.
And after 20.000+ kilometers I still enjoy hitchhiking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read mostly books about history, philosophy and other topics, but don't expect me to know much about these things :D
For fictional books I like Kafka, Dostojewski and Kerouac a lot, but there are a lot more that I like.
Also I like comics, both in the digital and the printed form.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Pretty much the whole time as exchange student in Slovenia. Especially travelling through Balkans with a bunch of great people and hiking in the Julian alps.

Teach, Learn, Share

I always carry a deck of cards while traveling and I'm always happy to learn some new games, or teach some.
Recently I started learning juggling as well, so I can teach you the basics.
And I got a flute, but have no idea how to play it (I am really not good with music), so if you can teach me some basics I would be very happy :D
