About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Help the CS-Community in Cologne grow. Host more!

I don't really like copy/paste messages. You're always welcome so send me couch request, but please send me a proper couch request, not a message. Please tell me why you're coming to Cologne and what you're planning to do.

ABOUT ME

I moved to Cologne in the fall of 2010. Before that I lived in San Francisco for five months and that time kind of transformed me. It was the first time I really got in touch with people from all over the world and I loved it right away.

In general I would describe myself as an easy-going person. I get aong with most people. I'm friendly and open minded. Always open for new experiences. I'm rarely in a really bad mood. I'm even a bit funny sometimes.

PHILOSOPHY

It's simple: Live and let live, treat other people with respect, don't be a dick.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I organize the weekly "The Cologne Sunday Meetup" at Chlodwig Eck. You can find us on Facebook or simply in the CS-Events Section. Come and stop by!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done some surfing and some hosting. It have almost exclusively been positive experiences. I'd love to do it more.

I gotta say, I'm an old school couchsurfer. I think couchsurfing is about more than just a place to sleep. I wanna host travelers.
If you're just looking for a place to stay for free during Karneval or for gamescom, I'm not your guy.

Interests

I'm kind of a sports nerd. I like Soccer, Basketball, Tennis...that kind of stuff.

I love listening to music and visiting concerts and festival.
I'm trying to get into photography. That's a field I'm very interested in right now.

I love writing. Not because it's my job, but it's my job because of that.

I love hanging out in Bars and Cafés. I like going to Clubs, if the music is good. Walking around is also one of my favorite things to do.

I love meeting new people and hanging out with people.
