ABOUT ME

I might seem shy when you first meet me but I’m actually just a calm, laid-back guy. But I do need some time to open up to people I’ve never met before. According to friends I'm creative, friendly, have a positive attitude and am a good listener. In large groups, I tend to stay in the background until I feel comfortable. They say I´m funny, without trying to attract attention. I’m a dreamer and have a lot of imagination.
I don't like to plan too much in front, I’m impulsive and if I feel like going to a place I’ll probably just go and hope for the best.

PHILOSOPHY

I didn’t like the idea of spending the rest of my life working and living in Belgium, so I decided to travel.
I think travelling (or generally just get out of your comfort zone)is a great way to get to know yourself and get a clearer view on life.

I get inspired by so many people that are travelling around.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After all the travelling and moving to Sevilla, I can finally host!

When I'm surfing: I don't need that much comfort as I'm travelling with a sleeping mat, I'm already very satisfied to just have a roof above my head as long as I'm surrounded by good-hearted people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted by about 9 people around Europe, Australia, Indonesia,.. and met some couchsurfers at my hometown through friends.
Hope to get that 'number' up.

I travelled around the world for almost 2 years and met so many inspiring people! I normally combine couchsurfing, volunteer work and hitch-hike around to have this low-cost travels while at the same time I’m meeting the most wonderfull persons. I absolutely love it. Hooray

Interesses

I can enjoy really simple things in life. I enjoy good company, travelling, hitchhiking, love to discover places I've never been before and get lost. Absolutely love to climb! I love to run till I'm exhausted to clear my mind. I like to make people smile. I like animals, nature, the sun, food, read a book in a park.. love to float on the sea, have random adventures, festivals, magic, theater, art, comedians, I like to watch and do all kinds of sports, wander around in cities, I love to look how silly pigeons walk, love to chill and enjoy the sound of silence.
